DUCT FLANGE

 Puct flanges are divided into the following six basic types according to the connection mode with the pipe: flat welded flanges, butt welded flanges, socket welded flanges, loose sleeve flanges, threaded flanges and integral flanges.

 

 

Brief Introduction of Pipeline Flange

Flange welding: It is mostly used in the case of relatively mild medium conditions, such as low-pressure non-purified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water. Its advantage is that the price is relatively low.

 

Butt-welded flange: It is the most commonly used one, which is butt-welded with the pipe. The quality of the welded joint is relatively good, and the neck of the flange uses taper transition, which can withstand more severe conditions.

 

Socket welding flange: commonly used in pipelines with PN ≤ 10. 0MPa and DN ≤ 40.

 

Loose flange: It is commonly used when the medium temperature and pressure are not high and the medium is corrosive. When the medium is highly corrosive, the part of the flange contacting the medium (flanging nipple) is made of corrosion-resistant high-grade materials such as stainless steel and other materials, while the outside is clamped by flange rings of low-grade materials such as carbon steel materials to realize sealing.

 

Integral flange: Flange is often integrated with equipment, pipes, pipe fittings, valves, etc. This type is commonly used in equipment and valves.

 

Production Process Flow

The forging process of duct flange machine consists of the following processes: selecting high-quality billet for blanking, heating, forming and cooling after forging. The forging process includes free forging, die forging and fetal membrane forging. During production, different forging methods are selected according to the quality of forgings and the number of production batches.

 

Free forging has low productivity and large processing allowance, but the tools are simple and versatile, so it is widely used to forge single-piece and small-batch forgings with relatively simple shapes. Free forging equipment includes air hammer, steam-air hammer and hydraulic press, which are suitable for the production of small, medium and large forgings respectively.

 

Die forging has high productivity, simple operation and easy realization of mechanization and automation. Die forgings have high dimensional accuracy, small machining allowance and more reasonable fiber structure distribution, which can further improve the service life of parts.

 

Die forging is all called model forging, and the heated blank is forged in a forging die fixed on the die forging equipment.

 

On the middle plate, the disk with the inner and outer diameters and thickness of the flange with processing capacity is directly cut out, and then the bolt holes and waterlines are processed. The flange thus produced is called cut flange, and the maximum diameter of such flange is limited to the width of the middle plate.

 

The process of cutting strips with the middle plate and then rolling them into circles is called rolling, which is mostly used in the production of some large flanges. After successful rolling, welding is carried out, then flattening is carried out, and finally processing of waterline and bolt hole is carried out.

FAILURE OF WIND PIPE PRODUCTION LINE AND SOLUTION

 Fault 1: the air duct production line equipment does not lift the knife when punching the small mouth

Analysis: the solenoid valve may be blocked by sundries

Handling: check whether the solenoid valve is powered on, and check whether the hydraulic oil in the oil tank has been replaced on schedule under power on condition. The hydraulic oil needs to be replaced regularly. If there are sundries or the valve is not replaced for a long time, it is easy to block the valve or block the valve. Contact the after-sales service department of VIP machinery in time.

 

Fault 2: punching die and plate cutter of air duct production line cannot operate

Analysis:

1. It may be that the connection wire of the electric box control hydraulic solenoid valve is broken;

2. Maybe the relay in the middle of the electrical box is damaged;

3. The touch screen automatic processing page displays the status of no punching or stuck solenoid valve.

Handling: check whether the electrical circuit or equipment of the machine is damaged, replace and repair in time, and contact the after-sales service department of VIP machinery.

 

Fault 3: after the air duct production line equipment starts production, the size of the sheet metal is not stable or the sheet metal only goes on and on

Analysis:

1. The position of encoder status switch in the lower right corner of the touch screen is valid;

2. Encoder installed at one end of measuring wheel is loose, slipping or broken;

3. Encoder is damaged or signal wire is broken.

Handling: check the encoder and signal line to see if there is any deviation or damage, repair and replace in time and contact the after-sales service department of VIP machinery.

 

Fault 4: emergency stop and servo alarm of touch screen display system of air duct production line equipment flash

Analysis: the emergency stop button beside the touch screen is not loose, the servo motor has foreign body Kara, or the servo motor circuit is unstable

Handling: release the emergency stop button beside the touch screen, check whether the servo motor running track and guide rail are in Kara condition, check whether the servo motor connecting line is broken or loose, and contact the after-sales service department of VIP machinery in time.

 

Fault 5: the products produced by the air duct production line have cracks and scratches

Analysis: it may be that the raw materials of the product are unqualified or the production process has problems, and the machine parts have foreign matters.

Handling: check whether the raw materials are qualified and whether the operator carelessly brings the sharp foreign matters into the leveling rod.

 

Other minor faults:

1. The touch screen displays the hydraulic overload alarm and flashes

Solution: check whether the system pressure of the hydraulic station of the air duct production line is too high, whether the oil temperature is too high, whether the oil pump is damaged and causes the thermal relay to trip, disassemble the cover plate of the electrical box, and manually reset the thermal relay.

 

2. The uncoiler does not stop or discharge materials.

Solution: check whether the photoelectric switch for material inspection of the material support of the air duct production line is damaged or the connecting line is disconnected. Whether the feeding induction switch is placed correctly. The time relay in the uncoiler box is damaged. Check and replace it.
